School Lunches

The School Lunch Company are our provider of school meals at Sunningwell.

The School Lunch Company is a local Oxfordshire company who provides meals to many schools in the area. Many of the fresh ingredients are sourced locally. If your child has a food allergy or intolerance we are able to provide a menu for them. We will require a letter from your GP outlining the condition and will pass this onto The School Lunch Company for them to devise a menu.

Please find below a booking form for meals for next term. If you wish to book meals for your child, please compete the booking form and email this to the school office, we are unable to accept paper copies.

If your child is in Classes 1 and 2 or eligible for Free School Meals, they will automatically be booked for a free school meal each day unless you notify us. It would be helpful if you could complete a booking form just so that we can ensure that your child receives the meal that they would prefer.

For children in Class 3 & 4 the cost per meal is £2.45 and this is payable at the time of booking. Payments are made via ParentMail.

Each day there are two menu choices and one of those is always a vegetarian option. If your child has a medically diagnosed dietary requirement, please contact the school office as we can provide meals to cater for their requirements.

Free Milk to Under 5s

Children under 5 years old receive a portion of free milk each day under the School milk scheme.

If your child is over 5 years old and you would like your child to receive milk each day you can order and pay for milk online at www.coolmilk.com.

Also be advised that children in Key Stage 1 and Reception also have access to a piece of free fruit every day under a Government Scheme.
