Dear Parents/Carers
You may be aware from media coverage that some teaching unions have declared strike action, which will take place on Wednesday 1st February 2023, Thursday 2nd March 2023, Wednesday 15th March and Thursday 16th March 2023.
The strike is happening because of a national dispute between the unions and the government over teachers’ pay, and not because of any issues at our school.
I’m getting in touch to confirm that we anticipate that Sunningwell will be open as usual on these dates. Some classes may have to be covered by HLTAs or supply teachers. Please send your child in as normal.
